There’s no sign-up or monthly fees to use the Bright App. For every booking, we take 4% service and 3% credit card transaction fee to help run the app. You keep the other 93% unlike the industry average of 40% at a gym. You don’t get pay anything until you get paid – this is all transparent to the client. Since you can adjust your prices at will, most of our trainers just work it into their hourly rate.
You set your hourly rate. We have trainers anywhere from $50/hr to $150/hr. You can decide what to charge for each client, including discounts for buying more sessions up front for example.
Once your client books the session, they have 24 hours to pay or cancellation. The Bright App has a secure in-app payment system that guarantees safe transactions and easy billing and the payment goes directly to your bank account.
The Bright App automatically reschedules any cancellations from your clients. Smart session tracking and calendar integration allow more time to focus on your coaching and less on unpaid admin tasks.
After sign-up, trainers can also apply to be on our Marketplace for new clients to find on the Bright App through our vetting process.
Definitely – we also are in the process of starting a referral program that will give trainers marketing credit/budget for each referral. We are still working through the details of the program right now, so stay tuned.
We do advertising and marketing for the app and our individual trainers, but you will need to go through our verification process to be on the Marketplace for us to market on your behalf. We market in various places such as Instagram and Facebook. We also do outreach to places such as retirement communities, private schools, etc.
Right now our focus is 1-on-1 training, which we believe will pay the most for trainers. We do have functionality for group classes, which you have to create a Studio in the app.
Trainers can easily send a download link for clients to use the Bright App.
